Residential Conference

LINCT RESIDENTIAL CONFERENCE
New Delhi, 16-21 November, 2009

It will be held at the Hotel Ramada Inn in New Delhi from 16-21 November, 2009. The conference is substantially funded – travel and stay costs will be largely met by LINCT, but there is a registration fee of Euro 300 for European participants and Rs. 6000 for Indian participants. Full time attendance is expected and some preparatory work may be required.

Those eligible to attend are nationals of India or EU member states who fulfil the criteria listed below:

• Film-makers: Documentary makers working on social documentaries that are, or have a potential for evolving into, EU-India co-productions. They must have directed or produced at least one documentary.
• Broadcasters / Commissioning Editors: Representatives of broadcasting organisations or commissioning editors based in India or an EU member state, and who are responsible for documentary programming.
• Non-broadcast sector: Representatives of organisations (UN agencies, international bodies, Indian or European NGOs, etc.) that fund or facilitate documentaries on social issues relevant to both India and Europe.

• Selection of participants is at the discretion of LINCT and the decision of the LINCT team is final
• We encourage participants to develop partnerships and evolve projects that have the potential for co-production
• Preference will be given to India-based projects with global interest / relevance
